Headbands in some ways mimic the bandana but as a smaller version. They are easier to work with in that they come already sewn into shape so there is no folding, but of course, this is referring to those that are made from material.
The material headbands come in are a variety of materials now. At one time, they used to be mostly terry towel type materials. There is the materials and plastic that we have already mentioned and in addition, there is leather and some that now have plastic teeth to them very much like a comb. Some bands consist totally of strands of hair beads woven together.
