Hair Removal Products

Most often people grow tired of going to the Salons for hair removal. Time and money are the two biggest issues and with so many hair removal products on the market, most of them figure they can simply do it at home. At least until they discover that its not as easy as first thought.

Let’s go through the various methods and products that are used for hair removal.

The most common and perhaps fastest and easier but least effective is shaving. You are going to need razors, shaving cream, and an after cream. All relatively inexpensive items and are bought at almost any convenience or drug store.

There are razors that are touted for just for ladies only but in a pinch, any disposable razor does the trick. The biggest problem with this method is that within a few days the hair is growing back in again but worst still is the stubble the shaving leaves behind. This is most annoying. This method only cuts the hair off at the skin.

The next common method is the electric shaver, which is no different from the razor method except less mess. You still need to purchase a good electric razor at least once. You don’t require any shaving foam, but will need the after-shave cream to prevent the razor burn. The results are the same as the razor method

Then there are the home waxing kits and these are really fun to watch people use for the first time. To begin with often the bathroom ends up being one sticky disaster. Usually this method is sold in kits, which consists of the wax, a heat pot, strips, and applicators.

It’s most difficult for individuals to judge the right temperature of the wax and quite often burn themselves with it. This is certainly not the fully side of the adventure. The most comical issue though is once the individual as finally applied the wax and got the strip patted firmly over the wax they get cold feet at pulling the strip off anticipating the discomfort. Problem is if they let it cool tool long it is going to be a horrific job at getting it off. It will break the hair and be must more painful and traumatizes the skin.

Then there is the roll on wax applicators, which are not near as messy as the applied waxes. They are safer in the sense that the wax will only heat to a certain temperature so burning is not as likely. Other than that same procedure use the strip and remove. These products are sole as a kit as well with the ability to purchase individual items as needed.
